Overall, this is just a one time watch and the sole reason is Nani.Engaging underlying emotional sentimental romantic A charming playboy who has never had a serious relationship finds himself in a spot of bother when he finally meets the right girl. This movie’s climax is no different but was executed in an entertaining way. Railway station climax scenes, airport climax scenes and hospital climax scenes, bride getting up from the mandap and running towards the groom in her bridal attire – are all part of our Telugu cinema climax. Yes the interval bang is good leaving the audience wanting for more. It seemed that the director was in a hurry to finish off all the breakup scenes and the railway station scenes just to give us a nice interval bang. Again it is Nani who forces us to believe that it is indeed a painful thing which he is going through when tears start rolling out of his eyes after narrating the flashback to Sri Priya. This break up happens in a blink of an eye at a time when audience start to enjoy their love story. A couple of more scenes justifying strong reasons for break up at least could have connected the audience emotionally and made them understand the pain Nani goes through because of the breakup. Too much screen time was wasted in Nani wooing her and there were just a couple of scenes that show why they broke up.
#Nani movies majnu movie#
One of the main glitches of this movie is that this film lacked the emotional depth needed in scenes where Nani and Anu break up. The script is age old but thanks to the entertainment quotient which although routine, was gracefully presented by Nani all through the movie. He carried the entire movie on his shoulders. There were times when the script becomes too weak but again we have our Nani saving it from becoming a scene which tests our patience. His handsome looks, dialogue delivery, his style of acting and his way of conveying his emotions are all natural. He is present in every frame of the movie. But as always our natural star doesn’t let us down even for a single second in the movie. One wonders why there was a low buzz about this movie and why weren’t anybody from the Majnu team promoting this movie before release but this isn’t a bad movie. Rajamouli and Raj Tharun did their part well. She doesn’t have the looks, glamor or talent to sustain herself. Priya Sri doesn’t have much scope for performance. She can surely improve provided she is given more offers. Her eyes conveyed the needed emotions in scenes where she did not have dialogues. Time and again he has been proving to the audience that this is the right title for him and he kept it up this time too! Do you need emotions? Romance? Comedy timing? Some serious action? Give it to him, he’ll nail it for sure not just now but from the day one of his career.Īnu Emmanuel looks extremely beautiful with expressive eyes. Guess Natural Star suits him better than Nani. The photography department did their job perfectly in a song where all the scenic locations were beautifully captured. There is nothing much to boast about the Screenplay, cinematography and editing. Barring a couple of songs, all songs were played in the background and were pleasant to hear.
What happens next? Can he win back Kiran?
While discussing his past love story with Kiran, Adithya realizes that he is still in love with Kiran.
Adithya develops a crush on Suma (Priya Sri). He even joins her college as a lecturer for her class.
Nani (Adithya), who works as an assistant director under SS Rajamouli for the movie Baahubali and Kiran, a college student (Anu Emmanuel) fall in love with each other. So did he take this rare feat a bit more forward? Will he have five back to back hits to his credit? Read on… This was possible in the Chiranjeevi and Venkatesh era and Nani needs a special mention not just for this rare feat but also for achieving this without any god father in this industry. This natural star had four back to back hits to his credit which is a tough thing to achieve for today’s generation of Telugu heroes. The 3/5 is for Nani.Ĭast: Nani, Anu Emmanuel, Priya Sri, Vennela Kishore and other The Verdict: Nani, the saving grace of this movie, makes it a one time watcher.
